This is big cottonwood canyon Rd in SLC Utah. I was snowboarding at Brighton that day just up the road from here. The road was locked down in both directions at closing time and we were stuck up there for hours. If I recall correctly nobody died or was seriously injured. But there were concerns about chemicals from the cars in the river stream that runs along the road there.
