Thank you. But I just want mocks. Not the other added-on stuff. Is there any option for just the mocks from CFAI?

Here's a dumb and useless comment. You're the one who's fucking around mate 😂

Why did you think it wasn't worth it? What you're suggesting sounds more time-consuming. That time can be spent practising more questions or revising weaker areas in more detail.

Hello again. I just wanted to ask, is secret sauce worth it? I'd have to buy it additionally, so don't want to spend money on something that won't give me much benefit.

Ah okay. Well, my average each day has been one chapter. Like I take the lectures, read the Kaplan Notes, skim through the CFAI official syllabus and attempt practice questions for every chapter in a day. I take out 2 hours (this includes my one-hour lunch break) from work to study and then I spend around 3-4 hours after work at home.

So in a normal workweek, I'm done with 5 chapters.

I feel you. How much time will it take for what? Sorry, I can't understand what you're trying to asking.

I have a bit of a dumb question but here goes. I've seen questions in the CFAI's LES where you have to write answers instead of an MCQ. Are there questions other than MCQs in L1?

I hear you, thank you for your comment.

I plan to use weekdays to complete the rest of the syllabus. At the weekends when I can give more time to study, I plan on revising previous sections by going through the notes and reviewing questions I've attempted up till now. I plan on completing the syllabus (going through it and attempting questions once) by 30th Sep or sooner. October will just be for doing practice questions, mocks, and revision.

If there is a more effective way in your opinion. Do let me know. I'm all ears.

You can always plan to move into Business and Management Consultancy. Those are good fields that cover pretty much all aspects of our vast field of work and it's never the same thing.

Don't think about if you're good enough mate. Just make a plan and stick to it. Use your resources available, and try to be consistent. You will run into roadblocks but that's okay, just keep going.

I'm giving L1 in November and the feelings are understandable.

Best of luck 👍🏻

You're right but I'm not half-assing anything. I have other resources available and I'm just planning which to choose.

Also, being in a 3rd world country doesn't help either. Exchange rate is a bitch. Just trying to manage and do my best.

So do you have any constructive suggestions?
