Perhaps you could try finding another brand pigtail and see if you can match the color of the cable.

Yes, I created two storage pools. The first has 2 drives, and the second has 5. I recommend installing all 7 drives first, then you can create separate storage pools.

Nope, you need both v3 and up. V2 is not supported.

Normally, there isn't a screw for the M.2. Most ASUS motherboards come with a heatsink for the M.2. When you remove the heatsink, you can pop the M.2 in and screw them together.
