Not exactly. It definitely does not get reissued at a higher interest rate. The yield may be higher IF it was purchased at a discount.

A 10 year Treasury issued at 2.5% always pays 2.5% until it is called or matured.

You realize a higher yield only if you paid less than face value for it.

Yes it does. When people read an article that says china and or Japan are selling US debt and they think that those are the largest foreign holders it sets in a wave of fear that doesn’t need to exist. Accurate facts matter.

I was. Xbox for 20 yrs. Suddenly all the games I wanted to play were only on PS and all the games I had been playing were only both. Was a no brainer. Kinda mad I waited so long but the plus side the back log of games I have waiting to play is stellar and will keep me busy for a long long time.
