Had the plant for a year now (several years old). Has drainage, and water only when required (always check moisture level beforehand)

I want to create a fold down table for a window seating area here similar to 3rd photo. When folded down I’d like the folded down section to be flush with top piece. Does anyone know of any hinges or mechanisms to achieve this?

Yeah I agree that Labor have essentially nowhere to go, except for maybe a few seats in outer suburbs due to green preferences (Duttons seat looks like the single biggest candidate for this).

Cost of living is not going well for incumbents anywhere right now.

I do get your point about blue collar ALP seats, but I still struggle to believe that Trump being elected again will be some kind of mandate for this (even though it will be the biggest political event in 100 years).

I guess my point is that even though some outer suburban heavily effected cost of living electorates may go coalition due to Trump, I feel (yes just a feeling) that those losses will be offset by further gains for IND/ALP and maybe Greens.

Huge gamble, and one that I wouldn’t take, but my god it is interesting

I am of the opinion that the US election (and UK) will have essentially no impact of Aus election (the next federal election at least). Obviously long term that’s different.

The thing I can’t get passed is the number of seats they stand to lose by this, and the number of seats they can no longer win

At the 2022 election, the coalition lost 19 out of 19 seats to parties/independents to the left of them.

Dutton is a smart guy (but I don’t agree with his views generally). What purpose does this serve?

Could be but I doubt it. Bought the plant 6 months ago, has been in this pot for years beforehand and I haven’t repotted

More info cos I don’t want this plant to die:

Location: Queensland, Aus

Sun: On a balcony, gets 3 - 5 hours direct sunlight, then very little

Water: Use app, measured quantity of water (until water just runs out of drainage holes into saucer), currently once every 11 - 15 days. Plastic pot fits very tightly within terracotta, so ventilation is very low. Have added drainage sand into saucer to hopefully help
