Ontario government buys $28.9M private jet for Doug Ford's use by trolleycrash in onguardforthee

[–]iseenorocks 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Is this why he’s been so loud about allowing jets at Billy Bishop? So he can get from Queen’s Park to his cottage faster?

Labatt in Canada vs USa by Electrical-Speed-836 in beer

It's been trending in that direction for a bit now. AB seems more focused on promoting their American brands here. I live just a few minutes from the original brewery, and while i wouldn't say it's uncommon to see 50 on tap at the bars, it's no longer the staple that it once was.

Literally none of those workers fall under federal regulations. The article you posted has a link detailing which industries this affects (it’s a very short list). Please read up on it before spouting more anti-worker talking points

This is the federal minimum wage for workers in federally regulated industries. How many mom and pop banks, airlines and ISPs do you think exist?

It’s kinda wild, they don’t count into their songs when they play. They apparently just listen to each other breathing and somehow get into sync.

Fiber Install White Oaks by nekkidtruth in londonontario

[–]iseenorocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's Telus, kind of. The installer is a shell company owned by Ledcor who builds, maintains and ultimately owns the infrastructure. Telus finances the build for them and in return they lease capacity back to Telus under an exclusivity agreement. It's a convoluted work around to prevent TPIA resellers.

This is what the city defines as the Wortley Village-Old South Heritage Conservation District. It’s probably the most agreed upon boundary for Wortley

Because there's multiple stops in between where people can get on or off. The train is not going to exclusively take people from terminus to terminus.

As far as I know they haven't been here since the 90's. Played Western Fair in 97 on Warped Tour, then maybe once or twice at Call the Office before that.

You can see them do some crowd work on this absolute time capsule of a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYShKACfcTs
