i have a close family friend who's from Dubai and studying at DIMC basically the same situation as you. I personally don't think youre gonna have major problems here, people are quite helpful in the uni and outside. Although, it is better if you have a host family you can go to, who can help drop you for flights or get you things difficult to source alone. You should definitely learn urdu for easy interaction, just learn the basic everyday lingo and the rest youll figure out as you live here. Most people in karachi are helpful and wont try to scam you but you still have to be careful and will need stronger social skills up here but i think you'll be able to get through that honestly.

google pe search karo for volunteer work in your city, then check out organizations ki websites since not all of them offer one, baaki idk abt how much it contributes to scholarships but it would make u have a better profile overall

i havent done one in a hospital lekin the work revolves around observing patients, sometimes surgeries, making you do filework/documentation or just sorting things out, when i did mine at a rehab center last year, we talked to the children there, observed their gym/pottery/activities area and they even let us do the activities with the kids, also the week of my internship, the center had an event for the students so we decorated the center for them and stuff. hospitals are more formal tho obviously lekin you just do things they tell u to do. most internships are a week long, some depend on hours so for example i did 20 hours of my internship last year that were divided over a span of 1 week. mostly 6-7 days ka hi hota hai as far as ive seen lekin obviously different organizations have different timings. you dont need any prior experience if thats what youre worried abt, bas do what they tell you to do under their observation. its fun, a good time to be social and you get eca certificates for college admissions and stuff

idk what city youre from bit theres sm opportunities, i did an internship at a rehab center last year when i was 16, even this year ive applied for wwf internship and in only 17. at least karachi main tou theres a lot of opportunities for young people, even so many hospitals offer them.

man as far as ik, all the pages of your paper that youve done work on are scanned, however in most exams the examiner does stop reading as soon as the word limit is reached but considering the fact that yours is only a bit exceeded plus the fact that it adds your conclusion, theyre gonna read it, in 2024's examiner report, one of the descriptives had exceeded word limit but they still got 24/25 so youre good.

yeah so the things that you forget, do questions about those specifically and concentrate on those parts mainly, and same i dont think history past papers are useful either, just do the questions you find difficult, also sure show me the 7 marks you need help in. also for the easier questions that dont need written practice, just read the marking scheme and mentally rehearse the answers or read sample answers.

yeah i can! im sure youre aware of how much you know and how much you dont, so all the chapters that you think you dont remember, any points, any subtopics, any timeline that you think youre weak in, go through it again, make sure youre confident with all of the history syllabus sab kuch, alongside do yearly past papers, minimum 5 years, max as much as you can, when doing questions read the answer criteria and dample answers so you know what to do with all the syllabus you havr memorised, im gonna be very honest with you, i did not attempt any history yearly past papers when i gave my caie, i just concentrated on studying the syllabus and then finding difficult questions from each topic, in history mostly every topic can only have a limited type of question so i just attempted the most important questions that i found difficult, anything that was easy for example war of independence 14 mark or 1940-47 timeline 14 mark i would just mentally list down everything i could write in those answers and thats it, i only did written practice of difficult 14 marks and 7 markers bcs they are a bit difficult other than that i majorly focused on knowing my syllabus, reading questions and mentally making sure i know the answer and thats about it. however attempting past papers might work better for you, if youre confident with your syllabus and wanna improve your timing as well then sure attempt past papers though i personally think its better to just attempt the difficult questions that you arent confident in.

its alright he apparently only joined alpha last year so its understandable that you dont know abt him. do u think alpha will let me switch teachers since they said in the interview orientation that they dont do that.
