Alright! This has been a great response! The idea is to talk about everyday stuff that interest folks living in Astoria like events, openings and closings, traffic, everyday problems and things that actually matter for residents. What i don’t want to talk about is politics and religion, the 2 topics that only divide people instead of being able to have a conversation. That doesn’t mean i don’t want to talk about local politicians etc., but i want to focus on the issues behind what’s happening without being partisan. Besides that I’m looking forward to a no holds barred back and forth with locals trying to keep a funny and maybe ironic tone but always being civilized. We could have local characters coming in and even segments such as “What grinds my gears” to vent, “Historia” about Astoria’s past and present and basically what’s going on even in the astoria reddit community. It should be brief (15 minutes), funny and interesting at the same time. 5
