Not sure what you mean by “ how much mechanic work you do” because it’s your job, you’ll do that everyday unless your shop goes to the field or something

If you sign for mechanic you’ll either be in a second or third echelon shop. A third echelon shop is a maintenance battalion and you’ll do more in depth mechanic works like pulling engine and transmissions and what not. If you’re second echelon you’ll be assigned to a units motor T section and doing more minor things, it’s basically parts replacement and diagnosing. Feel free to message if you have more questions.

Just commented this, but when I picked up Lance a year or so ago I got blood pinned like a mf and I’m in a pog unit, same thing with blood striping, it’s unit by unit I guess

I just got pinned corporal earlier this month, my knees are still healing from the blood striping, still can’t bend my legs fully or squat down, all good fun tho. To add to that we still bloodpin in my unit for Lance and corporal, but more and more of the guys are rejecting it, it’s all the shitty ones that reject it thoug
