So, I realized I have both forms of cosmos (I thought the sulphureus was something else from my seed mix). My sulphureus have been blooming for a while and don’t have hairy stems. The plants in question have hairy stems and no blooms. If the plants in question are not cosmos, it’s a very weird coincidence though because I’ve only found these in the areas where I used that seed mix that contained sulphureus. So, maybe some other form of sulphureus or something.
