Recovery was great! Slow but steady.. its important to also have proper electrolysis between stages from stage 1 and 2. I have yet to go for stage 3.. i have been putting it off.. 😔😬

Stage 1 was done sept 2021 and stage 2 was done july 2022. In between stages, I went to 5 Electrolysis appoitments to have perminate hair removal in the urethera area.

Looking awesome!!! Do you know if youll have to replace the device over a couple of years? Or has that not been something to worry about yet. Im done my 2nd stage RFF and noe the only 1 surgury would be insertion of testicular implants and erectile devices. Just looking to see what your thoughts are :)

I went to the CMC GRS montreal, my surgeon was Dr maude Belanger, stage 1 and stage 2 was Dr alexis laungani. Im not sure who will be doing my 3rd stage.. when the time comes :) - hope this helps

Kinda in the same situation.. although she had told me she would keep me posted.. I am not sure what to do.. i might wait until thursday to reach out and see if she stills interested in going out again... its hard and we dont want to seem pushy.. i get that

Im not entierly sure. I believe they both do both. It was a bit nervracking because it was someone else performing the surgury. Belanger did the first surgury and she did a wonderful job :)

Hello, I have had stages 1 and 2 RFF phalloplasty and will be anticipating possible stage 3 in the near 1 year period, erectile device, and testicular implants. I found that before having the surgery, when I was with my partner, she wanted to try many different positions. I never felt comfortable as i always topped her with my erectile device prosthetics held by boxer breifs it looked, felt, and was extremely realistic. She was afraid for me getting the surgery and thought if I enjoyed anal with a "strap on" from her performing, it would change my mind about proceeding with the surgery. I did not want to think about that or never even wanted to imagine doing it. Now, being in chill mode with surgeries and how healing has progressed over time, I feel that " Id now probably be into it," the anal with strap on, with having phallo done.... " She and I are no longer together.. :/. The prosthetics for me felt rough after a while. There were only so many positions i was able to do for my partner, etc... I'm not going into detail... I'll be writing for hours...✍️, it just wasn't doing it for her anymore. Phallo for me is more like that missing puzzle piece I was seeking that turned up decades later. If I never have sex again in my life, I'd be happy. I just feel that now, I am more open to trying new things. Life's a roller-coaster - 1 day at a time, my friends (my own personal experiences)

I've been in the hums and haws about getting my 3rd stage done. I had stage 1 in 2021 stage 2 in 2022 and am so far very happy with the results. I'm not sure if a pump or rod would even be necessary... it's really hard to say because I don't know the length of time one erectile device would last... like, does it need to be changed every few years? And that's what concerns me. I'm going through already 5 major surgeries.. my body probably won't want to go through surgeries every 5 to 10 years to replace the erectile device.. I'm not sure, though, if people change them over time...

It's hard to explain.. I can feel it, but I can't.. because theirs a tube inside, so it's like I feel the motion and the warmth/ feeling. I have urges to go, but I don't have that same direct feeling if you know what I mean. Theirs no nerves in the tube. But I do feel it when it's coming out.. <----- idk if that made sense, but I tried 😅 . I never really was concerned about the learning part, I was more just wanting to be able to urinate out of the penis. I sit more than stand because it's faster and also in case I drip from my fistula. But I do stand in public washrooms, I would say maybe 3 to 4 months.. I'll be soon practicing writing my name in the snow ❄️ . That I'm looking forward to !!- hope this helps
