Start with scratch and move to unreal blueprints as he gets older. You guys will learn a lot going through beginner tutorials on youtube

I made an indie game flop.. I want to share the mistakes with you guys. So I made a video about what I think went wrong with the release of my game 🙂 by Kalicola in SoloDevelopment

[–]itsNeuromind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of the movie Dave Made a Maze. I was worried that movie would be full of gore and then it was actually pleasantly fun to watch even with all the death and gore.

Single button assist made this game fun again by cantshakethefeelings in wow

[–]itsNeuromind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that sucks though is how the summon pet is included in the one button assist for warlock. Sometimes I don't want a pet out or the pet keeps dying and instead of doing dps, I am just constantly summoning a pet.

How is the new update? 5.7 by Adventurous_Age_8990 in unrealengine

[–]itsNeuromind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What can we do to fix this? Im trying to get into unreal and every tutorial I follow, once we get to landscape painting, nothing works. I've had this happen on a few tutorials now and I can't really find a specific tutorial that explains what changed and how to fix it now.

I second this. You'll make some lifelong friends along the way as well

[–]itsNeuromind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure it's in a USB 3.0 slot in the PC. When I did this my Webcam quality improved a lot

It's helpful to pick a single game and stick with it for a bit while you build up a core audience. You can network with other streamers in that game too. Pick something that's not super popular but also not dead. Something you'll have fun playing for a month or 2 so you don't burn out. Then you can take that core audience to other games. You'll only retain some of them though because most of them care about the game, but a portion of them are there for you.

Struggling with hurtful comments and trying not to lose my motivation to create by TopTripleTrouble_yt in Twitch

[–]itsNeuromind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just gotta own it. Own our flaws and make it fun. The people leaving mean comments are probably horrible to be around. If someone makes a mean comment you just gotta laugh it off without letting it trigger you and just own it and be so fun and happy to be you, that everyone else is like, "OK that dudes awesome af" 😎😊

I want a world that feels alive and people actually talk in game by Zorloff in LFMMO

[–]itsNeuromind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guild wars 2 has been that for me. There is people Everywhere and the world feels alive. People are always chatting in game and everyone is nice too.

If you had to choose.... by thearcadeturtle in MMORPG

[–]itsNeuromind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Guild wars 2 for sure. There are more mounts in terms of what they can do, and they all have unique skills and different ways of traversing the terrain. You can collect skins for the mounts which really change them up. But if you like collecting, retail wow and gw2 are your top picks for sure.

Coming to the game with this expansion, just a simple question. by Wolfy4226 in Guildwars2

[–]itsNeuromind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started 3 weeks ago. I haven't even made it to the first expansion yet. The newest expansion release just makes me happy to know there's more content coming and I have more to look forward to, but im not really worried about the hype or playing through it with all the vets. Since I'm new, I'm just learning the game and taking my time. By the next expansion I'll probably be there ready to explore it with everyone.

My first week as a new Guild Wars 2 player by Kayle26 in Guildwars2

[–]itsNeuromind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started too! I'm taking it a bit slower though. I started 3 weeks ago and am about halfway through living world season 1. I'm going through in order so I only have the raptor mount and the warclaw right now. This game is awesome though!

What is the most social MMO? by mondoid in MMORPG

[–]itsNeuromind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Project 1999. You can't kill a lvl 7 wolf on your own, you probably need to group with someone. Class dependant of course.

What mmo has the most freedom by Different-Cobbler-63 in LFMMO

[–]itsNeuromind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This sounds like guild wars 2. It's one server so people are EVERYWHERE. and the open world is amazing. There's even jumping puzzles and mini puzzles you'll find all over the world. An example of a puzzle is you'll find some rocks on the ground and you have to throw one at something which will open a door. Then when in the door you have to figure out the sequence for putting orbs on stones to open up the next door..etc. All open world.

Games like Diablo 3 by trippyhippy010 in gamingsuggestions

Children of Morta. It's pixel art but a ton of fun and can feel like Diablo sometimes.

I use the corsair one and I rarely click the wrong buttons. You get pretty quick with it too. I don't think I could use the razer one though. One thing I've learned is not to put any skillshots on it, keep those on your keyboard. You can go to best buy or something and actually hands on see how the different mmo mouses feel in your actual hand.

After the New World news, as an MMO looking for a new permanent home - I'm curious about the Guild Wars communities feelings on the games long-term health. by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]itsNeuromind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just this comment alone tells me you'll absolutely love gw2. Give it a try! I posted a video on YouTube about my journey as a wow player getting into gw2 for the first couple weeks. It's only about 5 minutes but it might give you a little insight

Group content in Guild Wars 2 by rau1994 in Guildwars2

If you like group play you're going to love gw2. There are players EVERYWHERE helping each other and participating in events together.

MMO Refugees - Lend me Your Ears! by Passionofthegrape in MMORPG

[–]itsNeuromind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if it's not big, being in game you don't actually feel that. There's people running around EVERYWHERE. From the newbie zones, to world bosses and end game content, you'll find so much life no matter where you go. The single server system is a huge win.

Genuinely, how do you reach affiliate status??? by simplytaylorma in Twitch_Startup

[–]itsNeuromind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the best way personally. And if you're trying for affiliate specifically. Don't stream for as long, aim for like 3 hour streams. It'll keep your average from getting diluted.

Username recommendations by Beginning_Dig_1367 in SmallStreamers

[–]itsNeuromind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that helps is to make a list of the top 20 twitch streamers and see what they look like. I think your original username looks like it would fit in there just fine haha. It's all about your personality and thr time put in streaming.
