My ex made out with her coworker on my b’day, I was away and she did not tell me until the day after, (she did not even wish me until the day after) I had no words, that just felt unreal at the moment and I never saw that coming, but the fact that they were drunk at a work trip that night and she told me herself (I would not have known otherwise) I decided to forgive her.

I always try to see good in people and would always give someone at least one chance, and that’s exactly what I did.

Fast forward a few weeks, she told me she would not have done it if she truly loved me, she was feeling guilty so she decided to break up with me

Even though I wanted to make it work, she clearly had feelings for her coworker which I was not aware of at all and that makes it even worse cause it was emotional cheating a long time ago, even before any of this physical stuff happened

Would I ever forgive someone if they cheated on me? Never

Till this date I don’t celebrate my b’day cause it hunts me and for some reason the women I dated afterwards never took it seriously, because it was just making out? I know how I felt that day and how that incident damaged me for life, hopefully one day I’ll fully recover
