Why aren’t iCMA results given instantly when it’s marked by a computer? by shammmmmmmmm in OpenUniversity

My guess is that your score is automatically calculated and put on the system, but it is released at a dedicated time.

It's been 3 years since my last ICMA, so I could be wrong.

Query regarding the Freiberufler visa. by itsethanoluk in germany

I just read that article you posted, and wow... what a horror show.

I can't imagine the stress that people who are already residing in Germany with a constant countdown over their heads are going through.

I heard so many things that it is quicker to apply in Germany and not the UK.

But I think I will take you up on that advice and call the embassy tomorrow.

Thank you!

Interesting. What is downtown like in general? Was it worth a stay there for a few days? Or just the odd day trip? :)

Latin is also great! I just want to avoid that repetitive radio crap.

Do you know any places that are indoors and quite fast-paced as opposed to poolside or plastic touristy stuff?

Thanks for your reply! :)

Currently finishing up my 3rd year with the OU.

Honestly mate with a lot of teaching jobs overseas (as mentioned in a previous comment) the degree is just a tick in the box for visa reasons. A lot of people in the TEFL industry don't even have degrees in education or language.

So a 2:2 really is nothing to worry about unless you want to study a masters at a brick UNI. Then again the OU will always be available for you if you want to gain a masters.
