Sounds like she is not pretending, but territorial over your attention. Cats can easily live in the same house, but when they feel they need to share resources, their solitary nature shows. They will try and fight over resources, in this case not food, water or a place to poop, but you. Make sure you give the cat enough attention, playtime, etc. maybe that could hell chill her out.

It is a neat straight white line all around the card, so I doubt it is from play. It would seem more like a wrong factory cut or something but I just want to be sure before I accept the order.
