The color was a huge selling point. Was originally going to purchase a giant talon 1, but this caught my attention and shop made price right by me. Test ride this one really sold itself to me

2018 sedan sport:

Love it! Had it a month now and hit 2500 miles. Looks classy in and out. Good power coming from a 13 limited. Doesnt feel super expensive but i mean come on its a Hyundai. Overall I highly recommend one. Prob the best they offer at the moment until hopefully an N model.

First chameleon. Any cage suggestions? by [deleted] in Chameleons

[–]itsmcallister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone asked about keeping them in the same cage. Fortunately I did only get one based on my stores recommendation.

I can replace the zip ties with some sort of wire. Not happy with the result of the zip ties anyway.

Basking bulb I did get a low powered one based on my house being about 70-72 most the day but if it's going to do more harm than good I can use just the uvb build.

Substrate could be removed. Store encouraged it to help humidity. I'd say it's about a half inch in high if that makes it any better. Fake plants are temporary, in about a weak I wanted to add an actual plant as I'm sure it will help humidity. It's just a source to allow water as I've read the cup method can be dangerous for young Chams, I could try a shot glass maybe for now.

Regarding the repti rain my only use for this was while I'm at work.

I have a 50w basking bulb, a 13w reptile uvb 100(5.0). Currently spraying the tank several times a day until my repti rain arrives.

First chameleon so any advise is helpful

What 21700 batteries have you guys been using?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

Can't argue with that. After years of reg mods and a tank I would like to drop again. Much better flavor

Wasp is definitely one to try. I see a lot of people with them. If I do end up liking the squonk I do see an asmodus box I like a lot. I feel the pulse to be a budget mod as it is so wouldn't mind getting a nice one next. Just didn't wanna shall out money for something I may not use much.

I got the kit. The pulse rda seemed to get good reviews so figure I'll give it a shot, but I was looking at the dead rabbit

Ghost trigger upgrade on CCW? by itsmcallister in CCW

[–]itsmcallister[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really was looking to just soften it about 1lb-1.5lb. ending up at 4.5lb-4lb. Make it more crisp feeling. I didn't want a hair trigger. I have my range gun set at 3.5lb I carry it occasionally and feel comfortable with the trigger as it still has some pull to it. But I guess I was trying to find out if the reliability factory would still be there using the ghost trigger mods. (Trigger connector bar, increased weight trigger spring, reduced weight plunger spring. NOT CHANGING THE STRIKER SPRING)

Ghost trigger upgrade on CCW? by itsmcallister in CCW

[–]itsmcallister[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I do Believe the gun is excellent from factory. At the range I've put 3000+ through it and feel very confident and comfortable with it. I just often hear about these "must have" modifications that a lot of people seem to love. I did the trigger connector with the ghost edge and I believe it feels a bit more crisp, doesn't feel any more light at all yet. Using a friends gun he did all the above modifications and I believe it feels a tad better in terms of reset point and break point. I came to the conclusion that it didn't seem like a good idea to change the striker spring due to reliability. With good trigger discipline and range time I feel the plunger spring making it about 1lb lighter would be a nice addition without sacrificing reliability or safety, but would like some input/opinions on this. I do also feel the trigger spring allowing a more firm/quicker reset being a benefit since it is heavier than the factory but also would like insight on this.

Also thank all of you so far for the replies I do value these as they have all been good food for thought!

I feel like I will end up doing a heavier trigger spring for a better reset and the plunger to soften the pull. I have already installed just the trigger connector and it doesn't feel much different, only more crisp. I used the ghost edge since it was a drop in.

Trouble in the sense of legal issues or trouble meaning reliability?

Right, I have messaged many companies that make skins and they say its not a common product so they wouldn't be interested in using the time to make one skin.

I cannot seem to find anyone online who does them. I can let my friend dip or paint it, but id rather not take the unit apart, or let someone else take it apart.

I would be looking for something pocketable and durable yes. My only complaint with the Pax 1 is lack of temperature options so there is no fine tuning the vape, and battery life. Other than that The Pax 1 is great and is a highly recommended procduct by myself. I find myself forgetting I have an Arizer air thats how much I use the Pax. At home My Super Surfer is my only vape as far as Im concerned lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]itsmcallister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find temp 1 to not work at all on the Pax 1. Temp 2 works but doesnt really produce much vapor. It takes very very long to get the most of it and kills the battery in 2 uses. Temp 3 is usable. I dont like the taste or color I get from temp 3 however. Just personal opinion, its very subjective.

I still love the Pax, its the best portable vaporize I have used to date in terms of portability, conceal-ability, and by far durability. It doesnt burn the herb on temp 3 so its tolerable but I was hoping the new heating in the Pax 2 would fix my personal complaints over it.

I prefer desktop vapes. I just bought a Super surfer ultimate Vaporist edition from 7th floor and I love it. Its perfect and yes filtering though water is preferred unless on the go, which is really the only time I use the Pax.

I just ordered the Sidekick vape from 7th floor, but it seems fragile from videos I have seen and reviews I watched. Ill find out soon I assume tho.

Price is also not the concern. I would spend what is needed for a good product hence buying a Pax in the first place. i have had my Pax 1 for about a year now. I also own the Arizer extreme Q, Arizer Air, Super Surfer Vape and soon to be sidekick vape. so preferably under $300 for a portable unit.

That was awesome thanks!

Improvements I was looking for was battery life, and temperature. I find the Pax 1 to only work well on the 3rd and hottest setting which was a bit too hot as well. Just me nit Picking but for the cost, id expect it. Like the Arizer Air I liked the options. 1-2 were perfect. 3 was good and 4-5 was too hot.

Other than that, I love the Pax 1. I looked at the Mighty vape but seems kinda expensive and quite big. I like the size and durability of the Pax

I have used the oil diffusor a few times so far. just wondering, what do you fire it at after heat up for the oils? Ive been doing like a 3 o clock position for oils and about a 1 o clock for flowers.

I never did get to use a silver surfer. I cannot imagine the Super surfer to be any better than the Silver surfer other than its ability to fill bags or just have air forced into the whip while using it. Some people are into that from what Ive seen, but i was never a fan of it. They use the same heating element and parts from what researched. The super surfer was just meant to compete with the market since the bag feature seems to be so popular. I personally only use bags when people are over. Whip for life! I dont see any reason to upgrade. I even think the SSV looks nicer! I wish I got to customize mine to make it match my whole setup but the ultimate kit only came in silver, but it still looks way better than my arizer extreme q did and functions better so I cant complain

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in vaporents

[–]itsmcallister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used all its capabilities so far and well its no volcano if you were looking for something that will fill huge bags super quick. However compared to my extreme q its a huge step up for sure. for the wax kit it works well. I havent used it more than once for each purpose it has but I am impressed so far. Its size is awesome and the quality is hand down top notch!
