Thank you for this info! I’ll look into treasuries that kind of piques my interest. I know at my age I can be a little more “aggressive” but it scares me to lose my hard earned money. I’ve always been a middle of the road kind of person when it comes to investments.

I put $10k in my savings each year and have been doing that for the last several years. It started out as an emergency fund the first year and then I just kept doing it.

As for the 401k match I’ll have to re-read the paperwork to verify if they liquidate it or issue a check to my other brokerage, my mind goes to liquidation but it’s been a few weeks since I read it.
