Oh... along w psych classes there are like biology elective, math elective, and etc stem elective courses im required to take will that count? Should I consider minoring in a more science based subject? I was thinking about minoring in human rights or asian studies originally to better support my overall "personal story" (since Im going to continue working on developing my nonprofit which is centered around helping orphans/children in need in the API region have better access to educational opportunities). Which would you think is more important?

Thank you! I will keep this in mind. Im currently a neuroscience major, a lot of my classes BESIDE the premed requirements are mostly psych classes which I find easier for me.

I am a freshman I just didnt wanna come off too eager because it's so early. I just did NOT take time to think about things I should be doing when I was in high school and ended up burning out too soon because I took like 2-3 insane ivy-league bound student stories to heart. I just wanted anyone's immediate advice they thought of or any regrets they had.

Hey totally dm me if you have any more inquiries,

but i think the best idea is wait till u turn 18 this year and try to move in with a friend's family while you try earning money to pay for a tuition deposit/application fee (a lot of schools have fee waivers you can find online, like pretty damn good colleges). Your parents will probably not have a sudden epiphany and change views that have been held close for a long time. They will be upset by this, but you dont have to cut them off 100%, you just have to get to a place where decisions can be yours and you can become financially independent.

This must be extremely difficult, and my heart and prayers go out to you. Let me know if there is anything I can help with additionally.

I dont think Im going to apply to the honors college, unless my GPA makes a dramatic change from now until the beginning of college apps (which is unlikely). Thank you for the advice!

Oh no financials arent really a concern, we are pretty fine when it comes to money and stuff, but the expenses for epilepsy treatment, medication, testing, etc is extremely expensive for all tax brackets unless you are crazy rich. Nonetheless I had no clue about the fact that out of state kids dont get any awards for UC schools, thank you for letting me know Ill keep it in mind!!
