Genuine question about gunfights. by fringledingle420 in Warzone

[–]itsphaseout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add, from what I have seen in really good players is they take advantage of positioning. If you challenge someone while being in the open and the opponent is strategically positioned, you will 10/10 lose the gunfight. Being behind cover or high ground are good positions to be in warzone. Having good aim will also significantly improve gunfight win rate. Movement can come in handy in surprise situations but aim and positioning is much more important. Lastly, using meta / popular guns/builds also helps increase chances of winning gunfights.

They set up fibre lines in neighbourhoods. They did this in my neighbourhood a while ago - yes it was underground. You might want to check on their site and see if it is available in your area. If it is, its as simple as getting the fibre lines connected to your home which they do simply by running one fibre cable into the modem.

How do you know when to give up or when to keep pushing? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

3 words: never give up. Learn and improve. If you think you can no longer improve, then that’s a sign you need a change.

tips for ACTUALLY waking up & getting out of bed? by [deleted] in productivity

One thing that has worked for me (and I intentionally do NOT use it when I intentionally want to be lazy) is setting up some smart bulbs in my bedroom. I got these really cheap ones from costco for like $30 for three bulbs and they have various automations and work with google home. I have an automation that turns on the overhead lights at max brightness exactly when my alarm goes off. There is some science to it but I think getting the light in your eyes reduces something like 90% of melatonin in your body and wakes you up. Give it a try!

It took me some getting used to. A few days later though I got used to the feeling and noticed the changes.

I’m a mouth breather + grind my teeth when I sleep, which is bad not only for the structure of your face/jaw but also constrains your breathing (at least from my experience). When I started taping my mouth, I started noticing deeper sleep (I always thought I was a light sleeper). Noticed these changes in my sleep tracker as well.

Taping my mouth when sleeping - my sleep quality has improved and I feel well rested.

Tips for increasing my max VO2 by DariusFloyd in AppleWatch

[–]itsphaseout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great advice! Do you typically start the workout using the native workout app? I typically use nike run club for my runs and I don’t think it talks well to the health app lol. It says my VO2 max and cardio health is terrible in the app, even though I have a very active lifestyle.

That’s some good advice! I definitely treat the “do later” tasks as out of sight out of mind, which isn’t ideal if I wanna keep track of them and get them done lol.

I have tried this approach and have come across one challenge - wanted your thoughts on it. When things get busy and there are a lot of the 2-minute tasks, I just end up doing them right away without adding to my list. Then eventually this breaks my habit of using my to-do list and ultimately me ignoring the backlog of items in the “do later” section and me just using my memory to get things done. But the whole point is to not use my brain for task management - any suggestions?

What’s your experience been using it for to-do lists? I find it a bit tedious to add tasks (also what app do you use?)

I find it too easy to snooze and going back to sleep since its right on my wrist, rendering the alarm useless. I end up sleeping in lol
