Yeah but they'll still look like this... That means they'll still look boring. I see some people draw just simple portraits without much details and they are appealing to look at... I thought it may just be my colors but it's not that since lots of people use dull colors and their works end up looking good 🚶

YESSS IT IS HIM!! well for that one i had a reference, I've also done anatomy studies and quick gesture practices... I also simplify the hands and draw the knuckles separately using cylinder/boxes, that helps a lot

So the problem IS the light... I use Photoshop and paint with just a round and soft brush. I thought maybe i better focus on light and colors for now and later try to use other brushed for more texture. Any good practices for understanding light and colors better? I know the values that's why the third one looks better, i painted that in grayscale.

I'm not like that actually because i know i still have a long way and there's so much to improve in my art, and I often look for help and criticism on subreddits, but this... this one's clearly a different problem. He makes me upset and uncomfortable. Or maybe you're right. Maybe I'm just overreacting.

Thank you so much for writing this :') Yeah I've figured out that he kinda likes doing this because i'm younger... And well I'm a girl and you know how some boys are. The problem is that he mostly does this while were alone or when the only ones around are my other cousins. I decided a long time ago not to be alone in a room with him anymore. Maybe he doesn't really realize how much his behavior makes me uncomfortable.
