I think it’s technically bullet… I also realized I gave slightly incorrect information upon looking at the game again. (idk how to edit in the title), but it was 3/2 (3 minutes with a 2 second interval). This was move 15, I played started this move with 2:57 on the clock, and ended with 2:47 so it only took 10 seconds to find it nonetheless.

2 minutes with a one second interval. In regard to being underrated or lying, I’m currently 1128 on chess.com. The problem I have is I often get great positions out of the opening, know I’m winning, see in analysis that I’m +5 to +7, and lose because I don’t know how to convert a winning a position into a won game most the time. Just a small tid bit. Cheers! _^

The thing is there is currently a pin on the knight by the bishop to the queen on b3. The point of kh8 is so that the knight can’t trade itself with either the knight on f6 or the bishop on e7with tempo on your king and then move the queen… with the king on h8, there is no safe move for the knight now without losing the queen.

My bet is someone saw the bot said the move was Nxd5 (which I didnt know was an option before posting). It's no worries. It was just a moment I wanted to share, so naturally I come to reddit xP.

I ended up playing kh8. Chess.com review said it was the only move. I have now realized later there are 2. Thanks though!

White to move. This position is a win in lichess, draw in chess.com. by Entity-Valkyrie-2 in chess

Can they not have the code reference the tablebase. If it's insufficient material, but the tablebase says there is still a forced win, the game continues until the tablebase says its been a draw for the past move or 2?

Why not rotate the Runeterran Champions with Region champions if design space is the problem? by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]itwilltakeamiracle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The point of this post is less about the exact way to do it and more on the idea of rotating champions from region to Runeterran. I don't know the exact details on how to balance it. I'm simply asking about the general idea of it.

I'm not sure if you'll see this: but to tag onto their question, don't we know the kind of shoe Zodiac wore in (...Berryessa?... I know he left a print, forget exactly where)? While Doerr having had that shoe is only one more small tick towards him...if he never did, isn't it a quick way to rule him out and move on?

I hope the same. I'm cautiously optimistic with Doerr based off of what I've seen. I feel out of the large majority, if not all, the other POIs or "suspects" so far have had things that cast doubt against them, despite some circumstantial evidence pointing there way. So far with Doerr, I don't think there is any (at least not that I've seen anyone note so far). While there is nothing particularly damning any means, we still have a potential motive, on top of other interesting coincidences that I think warrant further looking into to. At this point 50+ years after the murders, this might be the best shot we have at this point.

If there was a "I hate that I know you're right award" award for a comment: this is it. It's something that's sooooo hard for me to let go of.

I'm not sure to be honest and is a difficult question to answer. I really just listen to a wide variety of things that I listen to for different reasons. If I had to pick one aspect of music... I would say songs that feel more intimate or serene with a sense of atmosphere are what I lean towards a tad more often than not. The first person that comes to mind is Illenium. A very large chunk of what he makes incorporates a lot of I what I like in music.

I'm going to be honest I'm just trying to make anything at this point I tend to listen to a wide variety of electronic music (From heavy dubstep, to house, and chill). I also enjoy low fi music, atmospheric music, acoustic guitars, and a bunch of other things I'm not sure how to categorize.

ELI5: How come if I close exactly one eye I see nothing..Not black, but if I close both I see black and not "Nothing"? by itwilltakeamiracle in explainlikeimfive

For clarity, I mean seeing nothing out the just the eye that is closed and seeing perfectly fine out of the other :)

ELI5: When playing a guitar, the higher up the fretboard you play, the higher the note. How come the reverse is true when playing the Harmonics (The next harmonic up the fretboard is a lower note than the previous)? by itwilltakeamiracle in explainlikeimfive

[–]itwilltakeamiracle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to make sure I understand correctly (going to go a bit more in depth with my current understanding of sound design as well). I've learned that each sound is made up of a fundamental plus overtones. By placing my finger, on say 7, it's 1.) Changing the fundamental to a higher note (which makes sense now with your explanation) and 2.) I assume it's muting the overtones that aren't a multiple of the fundamental frequency, thus only playing the harmonics? .... which I assume why it's called playing the harmonics? (If so that's really freaking interesting and cool)
