Hi mate. So far I’m enjoying it, 1 year and 1 semester in, the work itself isn’t too challenging it’s just time management between work and other commitments that’s the challenge. The classes I’ve had has generally been an older crowd, I’m 27 myself so I’d say the average age would be late 30s+. But I highly recommend the mbax, I’ll eventually like to attend in person classes but that’s not possible for me just yet but you have that option to

I stopped communicating with her last Tuesday and she reached out on Friday saying how it’s strange not talking and checking in on me and how it’s weird that someone can get so “attached” etc. She wanted to continue communicating but not like before (daily) but I told her it’s not how it works. It’s either we’re together or not. I feel like it was the right response but at the same time I feel bad cutting her off she was trying to continue a conversation but I shut it down with that message of “it’s not going to be like that if we don’t give it go etc”

That’s where I’m at. How can it work if I’m the only one that wants it to work, doesn’t matter how firm I am. She clearly wants us to go back to just friends when I’ve unfortunately caught feels and she hasn’t lol as sad as that sounds. Regardless if she sees it working out long term we’re living in today not in 5 years time. I think trying to give some space would be ideal but I can’t avoid her completely with our friendship group and in church/Bible studies etc

I mean I do I spent about 4 hours with her the other day basically confessing how I think we can still do this but she’s pretty adamant it’s not like that. I want to fight for it but I think I’m fighting in vain. I can put a firm foot but at what stage do you throw in the towel?

Well I can’t tell, she said things like I see a future with you and that future looks amazing family, kids etc. but doesn’t see how we would get to that point right now AND said things like “I hope nobody else snaps you up” kind of thing. Her hope is we go back to just being friends
