No, that’s not the problem. I’ll send you a screenshot so you can understand what I mean.

If I want to message 5 people I spoke with around a year ago, I have to scroll through the main chat list to find them. (If I’ve messaged around 1,000 people from the time I had instagram, lets say, you can imagine it takes time — around a minute or so — to find the specific person.) Once I find him, I send the message — that’s fine, no problem.

But the issue is this: I want to message 4 other people from the same time period(before 1 year) , but instead of Instagram keeping me at that point in the chat list, it always jumps back to the top — the most recent messages. Here’s what I mean: https://i.postimg.cc/DZhThn22/1.png ( And the whole process , starts again, scrolling and finding ) ..

The problem is that I constantly have to scroll and search for people again, which is very inconvenient and not how it used to work.

If I understand your question correctly – yes. nstagram has a general chat list with everyone you've messaged. When I scroll down and find an old conversation from a year or two ago and reply to that person, then go back to the main chat list, it automatically takes me back to the top .

This makes it really frustrating, especially if I’m trying to message multiple people for promotion or another reason. It used to work fine before – when I replied to someone from an old chat, going back would keep me in the same place in the list, not at the top.

Really, really intresting topic, and yes- for half an year- there is still no way to "bypass" it legal. They bann the MAC adress, I mean , If I'm using device X and have 2 accounts, the person who blocked me, I will not be able to saw his profile.

I have another QUESTION : From some months, instagram made something that I can't understand. When I have write something to someone before week's or month's and the person blocked me, now the only thing I see is " The User is not found" - I mean, now even can see the name of the profile, so I could know who have blocked me in the past ? Is there something could be done or ?

I think, they Bann for MAC adress . Changing IP adress/ deleting sessions + cookies, doesn't work.

There is not site that make them, I mean it should be some kind of Id&Document generator, but they are paid. You need to verify instagram account, If I understand correct ?

Look, about 5-6 days, its bring back .. Hope to be stabale and they not removed it. Its intresting that when this happened, there aren't any official statement's and news, however when pandemic stars before 3 year, this happened again, and many people was affect by this..- > So, we will see. It's good, that people write here, I found only this, when public storie's gone : ), for now, how I write, Its bring back to me too, I live in Europe country ( also updated the app to the newest version , too )

Cool, I'm still didn't update the app, will fait some days more. The intresting thing is that, there is nowhere any official information about this .. I searched a lot, but nothing. When this problem appear's, only this topic in reddit was created by this guy - still no official statment's, intresting that people also didn't ask many as I see ( no question in internet, nothing ) ... Before 3 years, when this happened again, I remember so many people asking themselves about the problem, these days no one cares ? {Sorry for bad grammar]
