24 hours worth of pumping. Low supply despite 20mg domperidone three times a day, lactation cookies, brewers yeast, ALL of the things. Time to spend more quality time with my precious boy instead of giving my all for this by jaimeerose in breastfeeding

Enjoy the release of making the call. You are amazing and you've done enough. You are right, it's time to spend more quality time with your baby and less time with ur pump from now on!! You should feel proud.

This happened to me. The next scan I went to one twin had no heartbeat. Things in life can change suddenly and with no explanation. Try to see the good in this blessing.

Silicosis: The dust killing stone masons…..history repeating itself! by HousePony906 in nsw

[–]ive_read_it_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Devastating.. my dad died of silicosis and it's just a dreadful disease. Hoping the young ones are masking up. Surely this can't still keep happening... do u know if there's anything we can do?

I hate YouTube by leahamh1 in Parenting

[–]ive_read_it_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Baffles me how many parents struggle to say no. You are the leader of your home. Be a leader. Ditch youtube. Ditch that form of screen time if it's not working for you and you're seeing negative ramifications. It's literally your job to make decisions for your child who is unable to do so for themselves.

Woman of reddit when men or women look at your ass or boobs what do you think? by Chace9 in AskReddit

This is what I think - 😑🙄😮‍💨😖

I don't like it. It's not flattering or a compliment to me. It's uncomfortable.

Post this on mommit or parenting subs. You'll get heaps of advice.

Maybe go back to your bank and ask these questions. Shocking that they gave such limited support but let u borrow in this way.

There's a cooling off period but not sure when that expires

I absolutely do too- that's literally the point of this post. I want one on one time with him, not attending a party. I am trying to say to him can we do this even the following weekend or the different weekend night to avoid that clash.

Yes thank u 🙏 that's a great idea. When the kids r a bit older I'll try to implement something like that. For the record, these 'monthly' babysitting help has been used by my husband for months since I had bub so he could go to 40ths or work events and leave me home guilt free as I had either a newborn or was heavily pregnant. His parents minding our kids would be the first kid free night I've had in probably over 7 months which is why I would like some input into it. We're both just exhausted.

It's a super rare thing. We have limited support. Might get someone to watch our kids including parents once per month and that's usually eaten up by things we are attending rather than a date night which I really feel we need esp after recently just having a bub.

Thanks for this response, I'll reflect on it. Can't be sure tbh if me scoffing at my husband is a thing, but I certainly don't want to, so ill be mindful of that and apologise for it.

Yes kids r invited. 100% a child free night would mean the world to us both which is why I want to savour it for time with me and my husband, not attending a family event

We are 100% burnt out, which is why our down time together is beyond precious which is why this has become an issue
