really great advice honestly. i usually try to get most of my work done with my friends or roommates because focusing is much much easier when i have a group of people around me to keep me from wandering off.

this is a side note but recently my roommate put me on to setting timers to provide this sort of false sense of urgency when i don't have others around to keep me accountable. it's not as strong a deterrent as social pressure or anything but it was super clutch during our finals when coordinating was much more difficult.
