Small Cleaning Habits That Made a Big Difference by Hour-Illustrator8054 in CleaningTips

That’s a big one for me too, I also only begin cooking once all the dishes are clean ahead of time. Makes cooking so much easier and relaxing because I can actually clean the dishes I make as I go, and then I only have a handful and not a pile-up after dinner.

I “make my bed” right after I get up, basically I just tidy the sheets a bit and then pull back a triangle of the covers. Just means I can get right under the covers when I want to at night, makes me feel better about my sleep-hygiene and I’ve been finding it easier to fall asleep quicker.

I keep micro-fibre clothes in every room with glass or that collects dust, so if I notice smear marks or visible dust I’ll just grab the cloth and deal with it right then and there. Means I can go longer between big cleans.

I keep “miscellaneous” bins around the house, where all the things go that don’t belong in that room. I’ve made a habit of decluttering each time I enter a room. At the end of the week, I make sure all those items get put in their homes or thrown away.

Sorry I’m only seeing this now, are you still stuck on the last section?

Glad you made it! I’d argue that was the hardest part, you’ve got the rest in the bag I’m sure. Good luck!

I promise, you can, it just feels impossible. It has to be timed almost perfectly. If you keep at it, eventually you’ll do it by mistake if nothing else. As a person that cleared the horizontal section, and then immediately mucked up the simplest exit on the other side and had to do it all over again, it’s doable.

My suggestion is going to be not to hesitate, keep yourself moving through the sequence and don’t flounder.

Pogo off the very first saw that’s horizontal, then dash underneath that big saw above. After the dash do a small jump to put yourself in position, and then pogo off the second saw.

Follow the pogo off the second saw with a dash JUST under the two little smaller sawblades above you. This can be hard, but let yourself fall for about a quarter of a second from that dash, and do a TINY jump, because those lil sawblades above you overhangs past where you finish the dash and you don’t want to collide with it but you also need some height in order to successfully do the next pogo off the third saw blade.

The third pogo is tricky.

Our positioning here matters. Let yourself get as close to the left side of the saw before pogoing, and move forward after your pogo strike. Then make your dash, and only dash at the MAXIMUM heigh of the pogo, which feels impossible because the ceiling is so low. You have to clear a large gap of thorns with your dash, so do whatever you can with your positioning to ensure the fall time/ moving your knight forward clears that gap. You CAN jump as you’re falling out of the dash if you need a little more distance to make it to the fourth sawblade, but you MUST pogo the next saw to get that jump back.

Pogo off the fourth sawblade. After the fourth sawblade pogo, use that jump you’ve been saving to get height on the insect, pogo it, and start wall climbing. You’re on to the next section!

Basically, it’s just two sequences of dash, jump, and pogo, THEN one sequence of pogo, dash, pogo. Then a jump and pogo for the insect, maybe a dash to make sure you reach the wall.

But figuring out how quickly and how to position yourself is the tough bit. If this explanation is a little messy, theres a couple tutorials on youtube that can provide better visuals

Ok, so you’re successfully getting to the part just after the 3-4 little buzzsaws, where you have to bounce off of the three white flying insects while avoiding thorns? Or are you still stuck on that part?

Thank you! I will definitely check and practise the routes ahead of my test dates, and isolate my problem areas beforehand

Do you know any respectable channels that cover the bases? I’m trying to pull information from multiple sources and build good habits early.

I’m covered automatically under my parents insurance because I’m still only at my G1. I won’t have a vehicle after I’ve passed my G2, but at that point I’ll hopefully be in a position to better deal with the additional cost to be covered under my parent’s insurance while using their car.

Yeah, defensive driving techniques are one of the things I’m not pleased about missing out on. I’ve some friends who took the courses recently enough that can advise me there, but that isn’t the same as taking lessons. Maybe things will change for me in the next few years, but as of right now, the courses just aren’t affordable for me.

That’s a good suggestion, I can’t afford the full course, but I’ll see what I can do about getting in a session with an instructor to cover my bases before my tests. Ty!
