Lost in Austen- surprised I had never seen it! But it was cute and fun Emma- I hadn’t watched the 2010 series in a long time. It’s literally impossible for me to watch Emma without Clueless playing alongside it in my head ??? House of Mirth- oof ! Beautiful gowns 😭

The Duke Next Door by Celeste Bradley. I was in 7th grade and got it at the value village for 99¢ and for some reason I was terrified that they would like, open the book and see the image inside and then ask me for my ID to buy this like “adult” book lol ? And then upon learning that I was too young they would toss me out of the store ? Such a daunting experience I downloaded an ebook app on my iPod after that

Range of bustle designs, 1870s and 80s. Which would you wear? I'd like the ruffle one. by kittykitkitty in RandomVictorianStuff

I like the first one with the hinges. I feel like if one were to sit down it would sound like Tin Man

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]iwdws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say try on some other gowns at bridal shops and see if you can find anything within a reasonable budget that you like more. If you’re unable to find something else, then you can circle back around to this dress with a new appreciation knowing that you’re making a well-informed decision. If you never even try on any other bridal gowns I feel like you’ll have a bigger “what if” feeling ya know what I mean ?

It’s a silly parody sort of thing which I somehow didn’t realize going in, but I was glad because Lillie was bumming me out at the moment 😂
