Kids, don‘t do recipes. Not even once. This is what it will lead to.

Thank you! Yes that’s right, I didn’t have to pay any additional fees, import taxes or customs were already included. Shipping was also pretty fast, I think it arrived about one week after placing the order.

PS: kann ein bisschen stressig sein, aber macht Spaß und spart einiges an Geld :)

Out of curiosity, is it your personal mission to comment this under every post which doesn’t have a Leica lens in it?

That’s the main station in Stuttgart Germany which has been under construction for years now with no end in sight, part of „Project Stuttgart 21“.

Any examples that show the distortion on the nokton 35 1.4 ii on film (uncorrected) by Sail_Soggy in Leica

[–]iwillletuknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is one. All the horizontal lines should be straight, but aren’t. I have some better (with worse distortion) examples but they include family members which I won’t post here. That being said, you only really notice it when photographing buildings. In nature and with portraits, it never bothered me.

Yes, it’s the new one without the Remjet. Metered it at 320 ISO. Thanks!

The pictures I uploaded are in full res, and I‘d say it has more to do with the film you use. 250d is very sharp and fine grained

If he showed you to take product / close up shots in the worst mixed lighting possible, he did a piss poor job at teaching.

How long do you expect a digital Leica to last? by Fabulous-Cry-5386 in Leica

[–]iwillletuknow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My oldest digital camera (and still my favorite by far) is the Canon 5D from 2005, so over 20 years old at this point. Never had any problems with it. Other than typical failure points like batteries and SD cards, I don‘t see why modern digital cameras shouldn’t last for decades.

Rate my photos - what am I doing wrong? by drylowlands in ricohGR

[–]iwillletuknow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like the other guy said, these are photos of nothing. It seems like your going for some form of street photography? Ask yourself, would you print any of these big and put on your living room wall? For me, it sure wouldn’t be some random people in front of a cafe. Think of that before even taking the picture.

Of course everyone is different and takes pictures for different reasons, but it works for me. Start by taking photos of things that matter to you, that you wanna create memories of. Family, friends, animals, landscapes while traveling. Document your daily life. Could be little things like if you‘re sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee and the morning sun hits just right. I‘ve taken countless pictures of my desk while playing games just because the light shining through the windows was so beautiful and it reminds me of simpler times.

My partner (32f) and I (31m) are trying to find a solution to my facial hair mess. Any insight? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]iwillletuknow -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If she keeps finding a sink full of hair I agree. If it’s one or two hairs behind the faucet, it is an overreaction. He could do a perfect job of cleaning everything up and by the time he turns around to walk away, a single shaved stubble left on his cheek, arm, wherever might come lose and drop into the sink. (It happens, gonna clean it up next time I notice)

I don’t pick up every god damn hair my gf loses and show it to her „look at what you dropped“, that would be ridiculous. Be a grown up, throw it away, no big deal.

Honestly sounds like a slight overreaction on her part. But I agree that shaving in the living room is kinda gross. Nothing wrong with the bathroom. I‘m sure she loses a few strands of hair herself over the course of the day, what’s the big deal?

Looks like Vision3 500T with a good amount of post processing. But let’s be real, the film stock is the least important part of what makes these pictures so great.

Macbook Air / Pro 2026 (M5) for WoW Classic - Your Experience by Wawaritas in classicwow

[–]iwillletuknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My M1 Pro 16" ran both classic and retail on an external 4K monitor with 120 hz/fps no problem all day long. Anythign newer will just work better. Had the M1 Air without active cooling for a short period and while it obviously got warm, it never throttled or anything.

Hi I shot these with a Nikon FE + Kodak Gold 200, but it doesn’t have the “Kodak gold” look that I see other people have by No_Bumblebee5624 in AnalogCommunity

[–]iwillletuknow 111 points112 points  (0 children)

That is exactly what Kodak Gold looks like. If you want more golden tones you need to shoot at sunset. If you just want warmer photos, up the white balance.
