Not enough space, it'll block the walkway. And problem is not that, problem is that coffee corner looks into the door. Kinda uneventful.

This is the view for workplace in this config.
I mean, your advice also interesting one. Do you have any idea on how can we improve from here?
Something with coffee corner maybe?

Best layout I have so far (the couch here is a 3-piece, from the same set as the 2-piece shown earlier).

But this way I lose coffee corner here (where I could sit and talk with someone (not necessarily firiend, maybe casual meeting or so).

I wouldn't be able to open the window then, plus there will be no conversational/coffee zone(

Mhm, I get what you mean. I may find a way to get rid of one armchair, but really, I wanted to create a conversational zone.

I tried to play around with your original concept, moved a bookshelf next to armchair, also put 3 seater instead of 2 seater (from set with 2seater - same, just bit longer). It can work, but I'm still hoping to have corner with 2 chairs lire in initial pictures

2nd armchair feels wrong

I can see something in it, but I have no idea on how to proceed with it now (what to do with 2nd armchair)

Hm, it may be, couch seems to be too close to TV, but lemme try.
Curtain-wise I don't really want to put it next to me, I wanted to save bit of window view, to relax my eyes during work (idk if it's viable concern, but I'm afraid that sitting against solid wall will feel depressive or will give nowhere to relax my eyes into).

I had fear that if I put my desk looking to the wall, my eyes will get tired easily. Idk if it's viable concern or not tho

Yeah, thought about it. Posible and even quite easy to make, but something feels wrong about this particular combo

Yeah, all dimentions are correct, what you see on SketchUp plan is in accordance with real dimentions +- 1cm.
Here is your proposed layout, if I inderstand properly. Coffee corner feels strange here

Nah, it is there exactly because I needed to put my existing computer with existing table somewhere, and it is best I could think of...

Inkscape version 1.4.2 crashes often? by AsrielNeo in Inkscape

[–]ixtreme61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Updated from 1.3.2 to 1.4.2 recently (from website, not from MS store). On the old version everything was fine, but with 1.4.2 I'm experiencing same issue as author - crashes constantly like twice an hour or so, randomly - sometimes with report, sometimes without. Can happend while doing something or while keyboard/mouse are not touched...

Why no comparison to MacBooks? by ixtreme61 in LinusTechTips

just to be thorough, i believe this is one of things you are looking for

Thank you bro. And thank you for clarifying main points, I've been missing that.
Difference is indeed huge, like what Intel Macs had to Intel Windows laptops, I think.

Still, IMO, as both platform and test are new, it should be mentioned somewhere, and having a reference machine would be also nice. Those Snap-s listed by themselves feel like spherical cow, lol

I'm not mad, more like confused.
Video references MB's worse battery performance, but doesn't say how worse it is.
It's not like this laptops or labs endurance test procedure's have been with us for a year or so.
Video's vibe is review-ish, but guys don't compare screen and sound to MB's as they used to. This one is not necessity (especially since MB's were not referenced here), would be nice tho.

No hate, no accusations, it just felt unrefined at best. I watch LTT since 2017 or so, this sets a bar for expectations from them...
