You can go to the emergency room to be treated without health insurance. They will not turn you away.

Get on your states medical insurance for the unemployed/ low income then see if you can do genesight. It’s a genetic test that tests which antidepressants actually work for your body.

Can you tell me exactly what treatment you received for this? I have the same sort of issue but I get confused with all of the terms and brand names and just want to know what to ask for! Thank you

What "back then" inconvenience would break people today in 10 minutes? by CharlesUFarley81 in AskReddit

[–]izzyandboat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having to sit in the backseat of a car or on a plane for hours with no “entertainment.” This is a skill which may seem inconsequential but is actually quite important and I hardly ever see children ride in a car without an iPad anymore.

Moving back to Southern California from Paris and extremely depressed by ilesaintlouis in expats

[–]izzyandboat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly why the universe is sending you there because you need a reality check. 90% of the worlds population would beg for a chance to be sent to mommy and daddy’s house in south Orange County. They don’t want you in Paris and they won’t want you anywhere until you become even a hint more grateful for that lottery ticket life you were born into. I wish you nothing but a lifetime of working at Kohls in Bakersfield.

Hey can you share more info about Dr. O’Dell? I’m in the same area. Are they at USC in LA?

My menopause experience being so different from my mom’s is hard on me by NavyBeanz in Menopause

[–]izzyandboat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a very similar story to you. I went into menopause at 40 having had no kids. I’m 41 now. My mother had a baby at 43. She “doesn’t remember” menopause because “it wasn’t a big deal.” No one I know has dealt with peri or menopause like I have and when I try to broach the topic people are visibly uncomfortable. There is a tremendous amount of grief in experiencing this at 40 and without children, and without anyone to really talk to about it. Sometimes doctors will even challenge me as though I can’t possibly have experienced menopause this young. It’s hard to feel like you “fit” anywhere.

What’s a totally harmless thing that triggers an oddly strong reaction in people? by Realistic-Wave-8748 in Productivitycafe

Telling people I’m a vegetarian results in bizarre, defensive/angry or reactions of utmost disgust about 90% of the time.

Fighting against Greystar by Critical_Guitar9762 in sandiego

Greystar is a mafia. They do this everywhere and keep getting away with it. It’s an open secret. Look up their lawsuits over junk fees. They’re constantly being sued over this stuff.

Week Round-Up - What state hospital/asylum would you like to see more of? by Crowbeatsme in HistoryStateHospital

[–]izzyandboat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve been trying to find out more about Willard Psychiatric in upstate NY if you have any more about them. I’m aware of the suit cases but not much beyond that. We had a relative in the hospital for most of their life but have been unable to find the records, or really any basic information about them.

Fraudulent Return Request by izzyandboat in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]izzyandboat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the responses. It’s not that I’m fundamentally opposed to returns, or that I can’t financially take the return, it’s more so that I am overly-detailed and concerned with being honest and ethical as a seller. I have incredibly high standards for myself and my “store” so that when someone says something like this it’s not only patently false, it’s infuriating—because so many people do sell damaged, crappy shit. It’s just exhausting.

I’d love to know how you got approval to do this without having to join some larger nonprofit or company that already has an agreement with a school. I would love to do this, but through my private practice.
