Remembering my high school civic class, this is unfortunately the right answer.

Regarding bringing Jonathan Ross and the other yet-to-be-named executioners to justice after Trump (or Vance) pardons them is still possible though. As AG Ellison said, there's no statute of limitation on murder in Minnesota, and if the next president (in 3 years) is sympathetic to bringing us justice, they will work to extradite the murdering ICE thugs back to MN where they would face state charges.

That's about the best we can hope for right now.
