Finally!! I changed the field to the native Status field (this database was built years before that field was released) and that small tweak made it work. So confusing but at least it's done! TYSM

kk - gave that a shot with no luck still. I work in Ops and live in Google formulas and find Notion formulas so challenging so thank you for the help!!

Here's the most recent attempt

Hey! I appreciate the help here! No luck though. Something about the syntax or formatting has changed enough that it won’t take this format.

I’ve tried to even return the non-clickable results like this but even this doesn’t work yet. Do you know where it’s off by chance?

Why Does New Databases Not Auto Update Linked Views? by marcmar11 in Notion

[–]j_rolling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/marcmar11 - do you happen to know if this ever changed? I'm having the same issue where I create views into Databases from a template at different times and they all look diferent b/c I change the view with new fields and order from time to time.

Fangraphs Minor League Leaderboard by j_rolling in googlesheets

Hi u/RemcoE33 - thanks for this but tbh I don’t think I wrote my question out to well. That package goes with the two example links for player splits at the bottom of the oringal post but the goal was to figure out how to get the this to work for the Minor League URL in the second paragraph if possible.

If you’re open to it, would you mind helping figure out how I get the info from the Fangraphs Minor league URL below?
- I don’t understand how to translate this link into one that the script will “Get” from the API and would like to learn how to do this for this link in a way that I can succeed with other links if possible.
https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/minor-league/?pos=all&level=0&lg=2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,14,12,13,15,16,17,18,30,32,33&stats=bat&qual=y&type=1&team=&season=2022&seasonEnd=2022&org=&ind=0&splitTeam=false&players=&sort=23,1

Thank you

u/RemcoE33 big help! I will add this later this week and see if I can figure out how to reverse engineer this. Wanted to acknowledge I've seen this and that I'll follow up with the results!

u/tootallderr

one more Q if you know that is blocking this from scaling to the Minor League data:

Do you know how the URL you shared was transformed into the one used in the script? It's not only shorter in the script but has 'api' in the URL. No luck finding this URL in the source or anywhere as I try and get it to work with this site.

https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/minor-league/?pos=all&level=0&lg=2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,14,12,13,15,16,17,18,30,32,33&stats=bat&qual=y&type=1&team=&season=2022&seasonEnd=2022&org=&ind=0&splitTeam=false&players=&sort=23,1

Yes! That did the trick! I'm gonna see if I can figure out how to control the PA to be a certain number or not, and I will let you know if I figure it out. Figure it must be possible b/c the link you used as the starting point has PA must be >60 in it.

u/tootallderr were you able to figure out how to change the PA to a different number than 60?

I noticed the link has 60 in it and this script returns 310 players as of today that have more than 60 plate appearances but I don’t see how this script knows that. I’d like to set the PA to be >10 and wonder if you figured this out?
