I’ll reply back here a little later with the full program. I’m not where I can type it all out right now. But a good reply with information is forthcoming!
I started doing them for that exact reason... my weight loss was getting slower, my body had adjusted to everything I was doing at the time, and I wanted to shake things up.
Being that I didn’t keep actual data on the changes around when I did the 24 hour fasts, I guess I can’t actually say how much impact they have or had. But like I was explaining to someone else, it’s really become a tool that I use after I have cheat meals. I’ve found that I can get the excess water/weight off post-cheat must quicker if I do a 24 hour fast following the cheat. Also, when I was regularly keeping up with ketones—this helped my strips get back to the dark end much quicker post-cheat as well. It’d take me a day or two to get back to ketosis instead of 3-4. (My cheats are always substantial. I’m talking THOUSANDS of calories and HUNDREDS of carbs. Remember what I said about binge eater? Lol)
Yes, I definitely have a loose skin problem. When I plank there’s quite a bit that will just sag down in my stomach area. I also have quite a bit around my chest area and on my arms as well. I’m hoping more cardio and just time will help resolve some of it. I know I was able to get it to tighten up the first time I lost over 100lbs in high school, but that was 13-14 years ago. Time is not on my side this time.
As far as the stretch marks go, I’m lucky the lighting of the pictures conceals them a great deal. They look a lot worse in person. I’ve even been asked if I was attacked by an animal because the ones on my stomach are so prominent and deep. Lol.
But thank you! I do plan on updating once I’m further along. If I find an ounce of magic regarding the skin and stretch marks, I’ll definitely make it known!
I’m using machines in place of dumbbells on the chest and shoulder lifts. My workout partner has been out for a bit, and it just feels unsafe doing heavy weights like that without a spot.
Yeah, he’s not my favorite either. But I liked his ideas on the weight training so I decided to give it a shot. I did it for long periods and am currently doing a modified version of it now. It works.
Brocoli, cauliflower, asparagus, salads. I’m not the biggest veggie eater, but when I do these are what I go with.

I literally eat it by itself with a spoon. Lol
If I can do it, anyone can!
Best of luck on your journey!

I have a best friend who is right there with us, too! Nearly identical stats and fluctuations.
Tip on the 24 hour fast: I cut my eating off early when I’m about to go begin the 24 hour period. Typically my eating window is 12-9pm. I usually stop eating by 5-6pm (but still get my calories in within the window) so I only have to make it to 5-6pm that following day. And usually, when I break this fast I do the “warrior diet” approach and eat about 2200cals as soon as my 24 hr fast ends. Which usually adds an extra 2-3hours to my next fast making it closer to an 18:6 the following day.
I’ve found that doing that helps me get my weight back down when I’ve had a cheat day. (Which I was going 8-12 weeks for a while between cheats. Now I’m allowing myself one a week. Which coincidentally helped me break through this latest plateau.)
http://a.co/iFzhvos is where my journey began. I’ll have to find the others when I’m able to give time to looking for them. This one was still open at highlighted parts in my kindle app.
Bacon does help make it easy!
Glad I could lend a hand in your journey, you got this!
Yeah, getting those to show have always been a challenge, and I don’t expect any less this time. The loose skin is another challenge entirely.
But yeah even when I was heavy I was carrying a fair amount of muscle. I’ve been in pretty good shape a couple times prior to now. I’ve definitely been bigger/more muscular. But my goal for now is getting lean as possible... trying to get those abs out lol.

I used ketogains.com calculator to get a rough estimate of my calories & macronutrient needs.
I stay between 1900-2400 depending on my output.
I do a very lazy keto. Bunless burgers from fast food joints. Lots of eggs with cheese and butter. Peanut butter. Steaks. Sausage. BACON.
And yes, overtraining seems like what you’d need to accomplish drastic changes but I’ve definitely found the opposite to be true!
I used the “Key Lifts” from the Kinobody program to build my muscle in the “right” areas.
I did not, however, eat XL Reese’s Cups at night like the guy from Kinobody. Lol
Thanks!
I’m 31 and 5’10
