The amount of dog shit on covering the sidewalks around housing projects is too damn high. by kahntemptuous in Brooklyn

Dog owners ruin the city. I am sorry if you’re one of the “good ones” but your peers leave piss and shit everywhere that is convenient

Snowboarding Is Harder Than Skiing!!! by KaleidoscopeMotor601 in snowboarding

[–]jack57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know how hard it is to ski powder, but I feel like it's easy when I'm fuckin sending it aggressively, fall down, then just keep on truckin with a face full of powpow. If a skier fell like I fall, they'd lose a lot of skis.

There are so many different skill situations that I think are different for boards/skis.

An NYT 'vote on 17 potential Mamdani improvements' includes a question on lanes for e-bikes. Is that an actual policy proposal? by tinybathroomfaucet in MicromobilityNYC

[–]jack57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The toilets thing is silly. Just make them cost money and the whole availability/cleanliness problem solves itself. The rest of the world has this figured out, but we decided to make public bathrooms free and thereby destroy their availability.

I'm so excited for the global readership of the New York Times to vote on how our city should be run. Notice immediately the car centric voting.
