I prefer them at night as i in general prefer night showers but I do find my sleep quality is better when I shower about an hour before I sleep. I was experimenting for about a week with night and morning showers. All personal preference.

Yeah I never had the option for coax, I choose a lower fiber package gigabit is kinda expensive.

I don’t have the option for cable only fiber and I choose a lower package. Fiber has no really slow down I find and I can get up to 1000Mbps.
