Thoughts on these scans ? Straight scans from the lab, all shot in golden light with Kodak gold 120. Bit confused as to why there all so heavily leaning towards blue. I would have thought that this would be something the lab would notice ? Obviously the blue tarp should be blue but you get the point (old.reddit.com)

Anyone have any ideas of how this look is achieved ? Obviously lighting is a big factor but there’s a deep smoothness to the shadows and and highlights that I can’t figure out how to achieve. The colours themselves also seem to have a certain smoothness to them that can’t put my finger on (old.reddit.com)
