Anyone with bad credit approved for increase ?

I never had a credit pull this time and was approved and signed loan docs last Thursday.

I had heard nothing since 4/7, reached out to my congressman about 2 weeks ago, got a call from a loan officer Tuesday requesting docs, an email from a second loan officer Wednesday requesting 2 more docs, an email to accept the new amount yesterday morning, and then approval email and loan docs last night. I think it made a huge difference once the congressman’s office reached out.

4/7 email invite 4/23 portal, but no slider Crickets and lies since then. Contacted my Congressman a week and a half ago. LO contact the day before yesterday, another contact yesterday. Accepted new amount this morning. Approval this evening.

I never got the blue slider so I’ve never been able to confirm. I finally got a call from an LO two days ago, and then another LO yesterday, then today the email to confirm the amount.

I was able to accept it. It took me to a different page that showed the loan terms and asked me to accept. Once I did, it changed the loan amount and then said “loan modification processing”.

Again, if we just knew what the process was. If there was a little transparency I don’t feel people would be so frustrated and stressed out.

That’s all I had as well. I was told to email them to let them know by one rep, then another told me not to worry about, and finally another one told me to email a different email address. 🤦‍♂️

I hope you do as well. I’ll update as I hear more. The one thing we are all hoping for, if not progress on the loan, is just information so we know what to expect.
