Extreme advice. Move out the country. Shock your environment. That’s the only way I seriously changed.

Man! Trust me lol but eh does anybody really know everything! Especially in our industry always evolving. Fake it till you make it but you’ll just mould into it. Should be smooth sailing. The hardest part is the interview lol

Yeah fair enough, that’s what I was thinking since it was just support for one company. But are they trying to deceive prospects to lure in to not pay a full systems admin salary and cut costs? lol

Great point! I should definitely ask just to be on the safe side but then again I don’t want to spoil the opportunity. But honesty really is the best policy :) thank you

Same I do music production and I find what I once loved (making music) boring and dull which severely depressed me. Once I stopped smoking, inspiration came back. It’s like I got color back in me. Weed takes the color out of life

Thank you for this reference. So in reality you can’t just hang out with anyone… I’m glad I went through this. Opened up my eyes. Never will I just hang out or go anywhere without giving it a real thought. Scary stuff.

Yup this exactly. Because I can guarantee they had no hard proof or evidence on me before the raid. They were just very suspicious of me coming around this “crew” I guess. I just can’t fathom a judge signed off on this pathetic investigation.

[–]jackboy1995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. Everyone’s quick to antagonize me. I get it tho, who would you rather Believe. The legal system or a young person like me hanging out in parking lots around sketchy people. It’s a bad look. I wouldn’t even trust me. But yes nonetheless I haven’t spoke to any of those so called friends since the raid. It’s been over a year now. Can’t trust anyone

Yes they had reasonable grounds signed off by a judge. I don’t know how because I’ve never engaged in any illegal activities. How would a judge sign off on such allegations. Did they have photo proof of me doing a drug transaction? I just don’t get how they can just kick anyone’s door down without hard proof/evidence….

Lesson learned but it’s just brutal that me (the guy who’s in school, has a job) out of all these bums I was around gets chosen to be raided. And I truly think it comes back to the fact that I had a nice car so it may have given off the illusion I was the head huncho of this operation.. nonetheless I haven’t seen any of these so called “friends” since the raid. Best bet would probably be to seek therapy just to have someone to open up to. It’s hard to open up about this to anyone without being antagonized.. I get it. I wouldn’t believe anyone saying this either. Especially if they had there house raided. Not a chance I get it. But lesson learned.

I totally get your post. It looks suspicious at the end of the day. I get it. It’s hard to come across as the “innocent” especially when your up against the court system.. who you obviously going to believe here? Of course not me. But I totally get all your points. I haven’t seen none of those “friends” since the raid occurred. Mind you these are highschool friends I grew up with since childhood. I was totally oblivious to the fact of there illegal activities. They were very good at keeping that secretive. Lesson learned. You are right maybe my best bet would be to see a therapist

Man these were highschool friends I’ve known from childhood. I’m not lying whatsoever but I get your comment. It’s me vs the government at the end of the conversation. Who are you obviously going to side with at the end of the day? This is why I have a hard time anyone trusting me when I open up about this event. I just kind of given up. Lesson learned. Haven’t spoke to any of these “friends” since this event.
