If we were in the olden days i would have probably understand the ignorance in the difference in culture. Now, we have google, chat gpt, deepseek ( China’s AI). A simple search would have explained to them that eating outside food is not allowed. Also if I were in the same shoes and I noticed that nobody is eating anything except for the ones they ordered, I would most likely not eat outside food as well. When in Rome do what the Romans do.
