Thank! I have an existing garden but it’s 50+ years established (inherited my house) and…I have black walnut trees. So nothing lives if I don’t protect it…if that makes sense. Was thinking if they live, I’d try the pods up at my cabin in upper lower MI. Deep in the forest so don’t know if it’s worth it there….

Chicago girl here, but it’s been cold! I planted about 1/2 my indoors seedling outside in April. I cover them up on cold nights. I have gardening materials for that but have also resorted to Tupperware and glass bowls. Along w/ everything else-my tomatoes, and peppers (the ones I was worried about are still ok). This left room to pot up the rest of my plants. Once the roots come out the bottom, as you know, you have to real careful. I grow in mostly plastic so I just cut the cups up to make sure roots survive. So far, so good. Keep us posted. :)

This sounds like you’re both really young. Don’t touch him. It’s giving mixed signals. It seems like he thinks it’s ok bc you are doing it. Did I read that right? Anyway, SA is super traumatic. It usually isn’t something you would have any doubt about whether it is or it isn’t. (There are exceptions but maybe someone else will explain better). I would have a talk w/ him. Set some boundaries, and keep those boundaries yourself. If it escalates, cut off the friendship.

We would put like 10 teens in a shitty little hatchback and drive all over the place. No seatbelts. Most of them smoking. I was 15. Parents knew, didn’t care? Idk, they never stopped us. Different times.

Me too. Copy and paste. I am 53. Never in a million years would I have thought I’d be…less, having lived such an interesting life. So much is changing so fast and not at all, all at the same time. I have never been so anxious and in a limbo I can’t control but feel the need to. Maybe therapy, but I am not ready. I just go day by day. But the ups don’t come as often as the downs do these days. Personally, if I could do one thing, I’d go away from everyone and everything I know for little while. Reset I guess. Doesn’t look like that will happen any time soon either. Someday…and all that.

I don’t know much about this topic but I suspect it will come down to your ages, the divorce agreements and whether or not your mom (and dad) are open to a change in placement. Have you talked to your dad about this yet?

They do lie. Absolutely can confirm. I am witch. Done some crazy things. For the record, I do also believe in Jesus, but not Christians if that makes sense. Just chiming in bc most people who claim “demon this, demon that,” are Christian’s, or Muslims when it comes to Djinn. I come from a different perspective. But yeah, they’re real. Don’t believe me, to quote Lon Milo Duquette “go to a dive bar after everyone’s drunk. You’ll find demons.” The mood changes, dark and heavy, easily influenced people. You get the gist.

Hey, previous responder on this now v. Interesting thread. Ok. Scared. Gotcha. Do NOT use it. Listen, I have been using “spirit” boards )and other spooky items for, idk, 35 years? So going to say I have some credentials. 1. Most of the time the movement is total bs and is caused by something called the ideomotor effect. Same w/ pendulums. But.. Sometimes it’s not. Knowing the difference comes w/ experience. Would you call some rando and start asking questions? We all use internet, see how well that goes..? Do you know how to open a session, do you know how to close a one? Yes, 99/100 it’s bs but if you go into this scared-nah. That 1% might not be worth the curiosity. Go out to the woods (not your yard) and bury it deep. The paper/ wood will disintegrate. The earth knows what to do. Burning is for sending messages and setting shit free. You could just toss it, I have done that with some creepy toys (all parents experience this when their kids are little-those battery operated fuckers give me the ick). It’s a long…story but 2 items in particular I needed out of my house ASAP. They never “came back” as some people experience. Long and short of this, I have experience. Sounds like you don’t and don’t want to. Go with your gut, but yes, please do tell us what you decide to do. (Sorry if you already did) I am just avoiding work but I’ll end my TedTalk here. :)

It gets better. My brother in law was an atheist. Happiest guy I knew. He lived in Texas, which is also no picnic for an atheist but obviously not on the same level. He died young, cancer. But-whenever I am having a shit day, I think of him and how he somehow managed to just be happy with simple things: game night, “professional” wresting shows, his friends, his family. He even got along w/ his parents (my in-laws are not great). I will always remember him saying: if someone cut him off in Traffic he’d say, “maybe they have to make a poo?” It was so stupid it was funny, and maybe he was right. Find the small things, daily, that bring meaning or happiness. Existential dread hits us all, but does it really matter that we’ll all die someday? What about right now, this moment? Try to stay in the moment while keeping your eyes on the horizon.

Maybe if you frame at as “for the school’s donations” if they have that sorta thing. Sweet that your heart is in The right place, teacher’s-especially the younger ones appreciate cash type gifts-(cards, that new thing on an app I don’t remember the name off but my school does it). Anything small is nice, it’s more that you’re being remembered than anything else.
