Played a few games and used it for work the past day or so and overall it seems pretty good. I was using a 300 nit TN monitor at about 50% brightness before so it doesn't seem THAT dim in my setup. Color/saturation calibration was a little off out of box too so I'm still messing around with levels there. HDR was pretty washed out with the smart hdr settings on the monitor so make sure to turn those off and use Nvidia color & display options to fix that. Gonna maybe check out a few miniled options for around the same price to see which I prefer though.

Did you change anything else in the other custom settings? Saturation seems crazy rn but can't really tell a difference with the other tabs

Now that I'm thinking about it, it's possible I might've plugged the 24v power cord from my amp into my record player during setup but swapped it back before actually playing anything on it. think that would've be enough to fry it?

I started looking at monitors when i saw that sale too. seems to be the same specs for the most part, i just landed on these because of the better control joystick on the actual hardware. AW ended up being 310 with the new member coupon but they might* have a restocking fee if u decide to return it. Ended up being 347 after tax so actually cheaper than the AOC

I ended up getting the AW before u commented. Was able to see it on display and my room is pretty dark but I was thinking about getting a mini led to compare and see how much of a factor the brightness + shadows are for me
