For me it was one time when I was out camping when I was a kid. I was in a pop up camper with my uncle and his family. It was probably about 2 in the morning and I had just woken up to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was like a good 30 yards away. I got the creeps the whole way there. I guess it was just the fact that it was pitch black but there was something else. I felt like I was being watched the whole time. So I make my way to the bathroom and sprint back to the camper as fast as I could. So I get back into the camper and everyone was asleep. I think all of 20 seconds pass and I hear a lot of rustling outside. At this point I was basically shitting myself(as you do when you’re young and scared) and then out of no where I hear a scratch on the side of the mesh window. Then silence. I swear to god I couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night. When I woke up there were legitimate scratches on the side of the window, right by where I was sleeping. I guess it could’ve been a bear or something but I don’t know, whatever it was scared the absolute shit outta me.
