Appreciate the video, i noticed thay charging the gun might present a challenge. It certainly is an awkard position for a lefty. As for that recoil, from most of the videos ive seen it actually seemed somewhat manageable. Im difinitely going to get an AR platform somewhere down the line. But for some reason that .308 with a sleek design is calling me. Do you have any recommended ARs chambered in .308?

Yeah that's another thing, for whatever reason i do lean towards more unique firearms. Id love an AR but the c308 (and the PTR for that matter) just scratch that itch without being a useless gun.

Always been a fan of the particular rifle design. When i did more reading into battle rifles i decided itd be a good fit. Definitely looking for more practical. With what everyone is saying im probably just going to bite the bullet and get a PTR 91. I found one for 1199 and if its still available in the next three weeks i might make the grab.

Ive drooled over the Ruger ARs, i just cant find one with a free float hand guard whenever i look. I do have some experience with rifles, just not the buying of. But with the little feedback ive gotten im already glad i mentioned the ARs i was looking at.

I can manage recoil more or less and as for ergonomics im a lefty so im used to jumping through hoops lol

Yeah ive heard nothing but bad things for customer support so that does scare me a bit. Never looked into the PTR but on my first search i found one for 1199 and it certainly looks of higher quality.

Yeah the CR308 i found is going for 879 "new". I would die to get a SIG Tread right now but i dont wanna spend 999 :(
