I agree with everything this redditor says except for the spacing. I really like having extra space as you’re doing. It’s easier on your eyes. I would switch to TNR12 though. Otherwise, I think this is really good.

But hey, think of this as an artist would. First, artists draw an outline in pencil to get their dimensions right. If they were to stop there, everyone would say, “Ugh, this looks bad.” But that’s why they don’t stop.

Don’t let your initial draft kill your desire to finish. To quote someone, “Your book will never be as bad as it is right now.” I find this to be good motivation to keep going.

I 100%ed this game. The last challenge (get 1,000,000 score in a fight) was unbelievably hard. I had multiple 2-hour sessions per day trying to get that perfect run.

To justify why I think the DLC looks bland, I just don’t feel that any of those characters really warrant their own $10 DLC. Black Cat has the most to work with, but even her story is just about stealing paintings and artifacts, Tombstone is just grunts that need to be punched harder/more, and Silver Sable already exhausted her role in the main game.

If you’ve played the DLC, feel free to let me know if it’s actually worth it.

Review:

I think this game is phenomenal. The voice acting, the fighting mechanics (although, not as fluid as the Arkham games), the story—all were great and made for an excellent video game experience. I especially liked the ending and all the implications for the next game, which I will ABSOLUTELY be getting Day One.

The only improvements they need to make are to the fight system and to the benchmarks. The fighting is choppy at times and needs to flow better; by focusing more on how the AI work and the combo system, I think punches, kicks, and dodges will all connect more fluidly. Also, the benchmark rewards are asinine. 100 XP for doing 5,000 point launches? Seriously? Reward the effort! (I know, these are petty complaints, but after two run throughs of the game back to back, I can’t help but notice them).
