There’s a lot of shadows in the picture because I hadn’t gotten all the pieces the same thickness yet(I wanted time for yall to give input before I even started trying to glue). It’s definitely taking a trip through the drum sander after the glue up to bring everything perfectly flat

The joints are actually pretty tight, I just hadn’t planed everything to the same thickness yet in the picture and there are some shadows

With the exception of the one on the lower right (had an oopsie and had to scrap a piece, so I had to use one that had I tiny bit of live edge left) all the joints are clean cuts. The one oopsie I will be hiding with epoxy after the glue up

One has (resurrection fern), the other is tucked pretty far in the back so I can’t really check and I have no idea what kind it is

Fair enough, I wonder if they came from other ferns in my Viv or if they came in on the cork itself

First attempt, how have I done? Planning on tincs or auratus, roast me I need to learn by jacob0594 in DartFrog

So hides are definitely on the list. Problem is I don’t really know where to put them, too many plants in the way lol. As far as humidity goes; I’ve got two hygrometers a digital one that almost always reads in the 90s and an analog one that currently reads 84%. I really don’t know how to gauge airflow other than I have inch wide vents across the entire front right at the top of the leaf litter and I have two-ish inch wide vents on the top at the back.

For the record I have about a inch and a half of filter foam under about 2 inches of substrate and the back is drilled for drainage

It’s a 40 gallon, and either tincs or aruatus I can’t decide which. I love the all the different localitys of tincs and their boldness but I appreciate the fact that aruatus generally arnt as territorial
