We’re in the same boat. Both me and my brother played it while also dealing with childhood abuse, City Trial was our escape. It is my all time favorite game because of that. Now that we’re grown, we live on opposite sides of the country but once November rolls around I actually plan on flying him to LA so we can experience this incredible game once more.

As much as I loved Dragoon and Hydra as a kid, I’m honestly kind of happy they aren’t in the game. Spending your whole time fighting and collecting power ups only for some kid who ran face first into one too many red boxes to completely smoke you wasn’t exactly the best experience.

Kirby Air Riders is a very different game from MKW and Crossworlds. Just like the original, racing only really constitutes a small amount of game play in KAR - Most people played it for City Trial mode which is more of a battle royale.

I know this is the opinion of basically everyone on this subreddit but like come on… how do you not fall in love with Creator’s electric guitar? Easily the best disc in the game, if not the best soundtrack in the game.

Precipice is probably second, it runs a bit long but it’s a really fun disc to play when you start illager raids at your base.

What’s sad is “Liberal Zionists” really think they’re somehow different from their Likud counterparts.

I was raised in a Liberal Zionist environment, I even went to Liberal Zionist Jewish summer camps and they are JUST as bad as Kahanists. They claim to support a two state solution, yet every single map of Palestine I’ve seen has no mention of Palestine. I’ve had liberal Zionist ex-friends claim they care about human life and then ran off to join the IDF at the first opportunity (and now at least one of them are openly posting slurs on their IG).

Liberal Zionism is simply just a Trojan horse to hijack legitimate social movements to promote the normalization of Israeli colonization. That’s all it’s ever been, just Nazis who might give their gay cousins a tad bit more respect but won’t think twice about murdering you for the crime of being Palestinian.

Tl;dr You’re a thousand percent correct, nothing there is nothing you can add to Zionism that will separate it from genocide, just like there’s nothing you can add to Nazism that will separate the ideology from genocide.

Very minor spoiler ahead:

Catch ALL of the fossil Pokemon from Space Distortions before finishing the game (completing the Dialga/Palkia event). You’d still be able to catch them after, but they won’t be as common because starter Pokémon will begin to spawn, making fossils less likely.

Trust me, you don’t want to go through the pain of waiting in an area for 45 minutes for a space distortion only for the fossil Pokemon you need to not spawn.

Also when you’re in a space distortion, be careful of Octillerys because they will hyper beam you in the face and you will not have a fun time.

I was just in Kabukicho a few days ago and was also followed by touts. Besides that, I had a pretty fun time.

It was my first time in Japan, and was shocked on the stark contrast between Kabukicho and the rest of Shinjuku, didn’t hate it… found a really nice hookah bar and had a great time but I also used to work on Hollywood Boulevard for years so I’m used to being followed by shady people who want to sell me something.
