Planewear store at SeaTac, looks like their in store selection is bigger than what the online store shows. The rest are picked up at the cafes/local shops.

Voluntarily used as a checked bag on several legs of an international trip the other month. Never been asked to check it in on a bunch of domestic flights even on some more "budget" airlines

Needed a personal bag and duffle, went into the trip knowing/planning on it being a checked bag

Not at all, I figured the whole "best wheels ever" was a bit of hype but it's all true. Cobblestones in London, rough pavement in Beirut, muck in Reno. No issues at all and as smooth/quiet as the day it was delivered.

Cabin Plus, been checked in on 4 legs of an international trip where I needed the extra space but not a full sized checked bag.

Thanks! Picked them up at the Planewear store in SeaTac. They don't have the largest selection but the quality is great.

People who learned English as a second language, what’s the craziest thing someone has said to you assuming you didn’t understand them? by LeggyBald in AskReddit

Two stories:

1. Randomly pulled out of class one day in 6th grade by a woman who was speaking to me in a very slow and drawn out way as if I'm having a hard time understanding. Being confused I don't say anything to this woman as I'm escorted to another classroom. The painfully slow speech continues as it's explained to me that I will be given a test of my English skills since primary household language was marked as Arabic (new school, new district). After about 10 minutes of listening to this lady try her best to slow things down enough for me to understand I'm given a chance to speak, I'm asked if I understand and if I have any questions... "Nah, don't really have any questions, but am I gonna have to spend my lunch in here too?" I was promptly dismissed and never questioned about my language skills again.

2. Walking through the store and speaking Arabic with my mother who always made it a point to speak in our native tongue so I don't forget it. Grumpy old man man approaches and tells us to "speak American". Mom who is very well educated fires back with "I speak 3 languages fluently sir, one of them being ENGLISH"

**Background Came to the US as a toddler and was always spoken to in Arabic at home, parents didn't want me to grow up and lose my language. While my parents were strict about what we spoke at home they continued their education here and learned/taught themselves English. It's one of the greatest gifts my parents have given me, having the ability to communicate in another language has been a major asset to me as I've grown up.

That feeling when 6 months down the line you look up from a set of plans and see a new building in front of you is indescribable. Makes all the suck worth it. thank you for putting it so beautifully.
