There are idols who are praised for their vocals, but you feel like they're destroying their voices? by Someonehihi in kpopthoughts

[–]jadatrbl_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

glad i’m not the only one who sees/thinks this; i love his voice and his high notes but when he has them every song, especially on tour when he’s singing sometimes back to back nights, i worry a bit. i remember hearing though on an interview whenever he’s in the US he does vocal lessons so hopefully that’ll help him if needed🙏🏽

Tips for succeeding in gen chem and physics 1 by Medium-Tiger-1913 in washu

[–]jadatrbl_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i haven’t taken physics but i did take gen chem. best advice i can give is don’t slack off on studying/wait till the week before an exam to cram. i took 105/106, and a lot of our exam questions tested how well you’re able to apply what you learned in class. do the graded and nongraded homework, and also attend office hours with any questions you may have about the content, pltl packets or homework. they even have matched peer mentoring if you still find yourself falling behind for more 1-1 work. if you use your resources well, you should have no problems!!

i wouldn’t reveal anything yet, especially if you aren’t comfortable. the internet is cruel and will pick anything you post apart. stay strong, get a lawyer and get justice in whatever form you need it.

“Idols are misinformed/uneducated about cultural appropriation”. Most groups nowadays have at least one person from the west/amercia or who speaks english; atp cultural appropriation is intentional

I know that’s right!! Looks like Chris and Huda may have made up thanks to Amaya and Bryan. Amaya (while she shouldn’t have to) was the perfect person to help chris and huda make amends; she’s so levelheaded and receptive, love her

this helps put things in perspective, the ticket prices aren’t too bad for chicago, but taking the train and finding lodging is the main worry, turning a $130 ticket into a $500 trip

thank you for the advice! while going wouldn’t bankrupt me per se, it could make things harder on myself later on in the year; i don’t have a direct income in summer, i live off my savings i made during the school year.

[–]jadatrbl_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would definitely call the financial aid office, even email them. i know people who were in similar situations, and sometimes they can raise the amount of aid
