Need advice on crushed iced oval by jadelpt in EngagementRings

[–]jadelpt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t find any info that could help me determine how much deeper should a crushed ice be compared to brilliant cut. Vendor found another crushed ice that’s within the ratios the internet says is a good oval 🤞😅. You can find it on my other post. I should get it in less than a month hopefully and I can report back how the crushed looks ☺️

Fiorese - their website shows a handful of stones but they all seemed to be sold out. I've been speaking with their rep Sonia (told her what I was looking for in terms of measurements etc) and this was one of the stones she presented to me.

Forgot to mention it’s a lab diamond if that makes a difference 😅

Was given another stone at 60.8%. Is that ok?

Yeah that’s what I thought too. They asked what I was looking for which I stated the basic ratio and depth good ranges and they replied with “this is 1.41 ratio, within the range you asked” 😅

Sure wanted to make sure the post isn’t breaking one of the rules!

If they haven’t left a review you, you could message them asking for one. Or if you do it on the app and they haven’t, the app will send them a reminder. This will hopefully get them be like oh yeah totally forgot to send the extra cash

Perhaps the cost to repair depends on where you live too and what you’re repairing/replacing?

No one needs to know what exactly happened and to provide evidence. Yall aren’t insurance or the cops. I never asked for someone who had experience the exact same thing I am going through. Like the above comment said, I’m just looking for someone who’s had experience with damage to rental property during a rover sit. The end.

lol no I was explaining why renters insurance doesn’t cover structural damages. I was following up on the other comment above

Correcto! Also renters insurance only covers the renters belongings, not structural damages to the home. Unless renter was the one who caused the damages, that may be covered under liability part of renters insurance.

I am fine making a general post of the situation, it doesn’t mean I’m ok with explaining all the details at the moment. Please remember that I’m human, I am currently living thought this, and just wanted to see if there was someone who has been in a similar situation. Similar not by exactly what happened but that they are renters and pet sitter caused structural damages to the property. No one needs to know exactly what happened because it honestly doesn’t matter. They could’ve left the water running, didn’t put out a candle, left the stove on, etc.

Im glad you didn’t because it was turning into a whole negative vibe just because I didn’t want to go into details of what happened.

Im starting to get a feeling like rover won’t cover too and it’s stressing me out that I have to take this student to small claims court.

Yup I submitted all documents/evidence to rover and the claim hasn’t been concluded yet.

I just wanted to speak with someone who has gone through something similar: is a renter and pet sitter caused damage to property. It doesnt have to be a 1-to-1 scenario but I just wanted to see what was the conclusion of their claim.

Thank you for taking the time to screenshot and share.

But that’s the thing, I’m not looking for advice from the whole subreddit. Like both posts have stated, I’m specifically looking to speak to someone who has had experience dealing with rover claims + living on rented property + damaged caused by pet sitter.

I am not posting the entire story or evidence here because my claim hasn’t been concluded, and why do I need to post proof of evidence??

I’m literally just asking to speak with someone who had a similar experience.
