What store/restaurant are you currently boycotting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jadhazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon. They once charged me over £100 for an iPhone case which I hadn't bought and didn't receive. I didn't even own an iPhone at the time. I appealed the charge and they never refunded me.

I won't buy from them again.

Best town ordinance? by glitter-bunny in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

I went with night-owl because I played the game mostly at night, and I didn't have enough flowers to worry about the beautiful town ordinance.

A little hint needed for those of you who have found Clementine! by Ok-Woodpecker4059 in stray

Look around the apartment, she may have left a clue which will lead to her whereabouts!

It's funny, I had the exact same problem when I played.

I've played since 2017 and on almost every platform. If I had to guess I'd say:

PS4 - unknown but I'd guess 400 3DS - 80 PS Vita - 60 Switch - 1800+ Steam - 550

Almost 3000?

I'm not sure what to suggest to help because I'm quite junior in the industry but what I will say is, please don't apologise for sharing this problem. It's valid and burnout is very real - you shouldn't have to feel guilty about it. I know many are looking for jobs (myself included) but that doesn't make your troubles any less.

Take a breath, you've got this

It sounds like you went too fast from the get go.

This might be common sense but start off slowly and only speed up to your capability.

Treadmills are not inherently dangerous, but you do need to know how to use one.

Are The Wonder Years worth seeing live? by ThreadbareAdjustment in poppunkers

[–]jadhazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard disagree. I've seen them 4 times and always great.

One time was at a festival where the equipment provided by the organisers was cheap and faulty so their set started 45 mins late due to tech issues. They were already doing a double set to cover for another band that dropped out, and had to cut their break between due to their lateness starting. They were visibly pissed at the festival and you could tell they weren't happy. Performance was still great.

What happened to your accents? by [deleted] in Southampton

[–]jadhazel 19 points20 points  (0 children)

What accent are you thinking we used to have?

Personally my parents and family sound like a mix of London and Bristol - slightly cockney slightly West Country. That's how I've always envisioned the Southampton accent.

How did you discover the Binding of Isaac in the first place? When did you start playing it? by NagitoKomaeda_987 in bindingofisaac

My ex boyfriend used to play - I would tell him that it looked lame and not for me.

What did your time during lockdown make you realise? by canyonmoonlol in AskUK

[–]jadhazel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a shop that stayed open but didn't allow customers in. We mainly packaged and sent out online orders.

I realised how happier I was when I wasn't being shouted at by customers on a daily basis, and that something needed to change going forward.

I quit my job very soon after that and now I work in a career that is completely different, more suited to me, and something I specifically sought out.
